The Six-Part Cycle of Revolution

Introduction

This is my idea of the way personified objects (humans) (or objects capable of performing human-like activities and having human-like properties) interact to determine what is the most important activity for the moment.

I put this together after reflecting on the patterns that connects the last few decades politcally, spiritually, and economicly (I leave you to immagine what I mean or to even apply this idea to anything you want at all! I think it should work as long as what you are thinking about can be grouped into seperate "people" and that the observation takes place over time).

I enjoy pretending that this is an infallible process but I don't actually think it is infallable (I think that stages of the process can switch places occasionally).

Theory

Personified Change / Human-style Change / Change / Revolution happens over time and is broken into 5 stages and 1 special stage that cannot be done away with without outside force.
  1. Learning
  2. Discussing
  3. Building
  4. Playing
  5. Skill Sharpening (Move to 6 or Move to 1)
  6. Dominated Stage / Phantom Stage / End Stage (You cannot move from this stage without outside help; help from outside of the group of people that have been taking part in this cycle with eachother)

In-Depth Explenation

Say that there are a large number of humans. Lets call these humans, together, as a group, a "society". Say that on average, this society (all the people together), enter a new stage of the cycle about every 10 years.

1. Learning

Learning about anything and everything from first or second hand sources. In this stage, everyone likes to learn, watch, experience, and have thought provoking or leisurely activities. People enjoy sharing information and interests and having information and interests shared with them the most in this stage.

Most Important Energies: Interest, Relaxation

2. Discussing

After everyone has learned much more new information, people focus on their disagreements and agreements with eachother.

Most Important Energies: Conflict, Re-organization

3. Building

Everyone has discussed conflict enough so that people are more aware of eachothers personal boundaries. Investors provide funds for many new things such as technological innovation. Society in general is more comfortable acting without discussing because they are more confident in their ideas about one another.

Most Important Energies: Unity, Construction

4. Playing

Art and amusement are emphasized. Unexplored sides of culture are exploited for their unique qualities and are documented. People lose their inhibitions and make pronounced expressions.

Most Important Enegies: The Unique, Expression

5. Skill Sharpening

The line between recreation and academics has been made more clear. People are now constantly aware if they are doing something for "fun" or for "work" and attempt to become better at both.

Most Important Energies: Skill, Vitality

6. Dominated Stage

This stage arrives when the tendency for work to overide play is emphasized. When play overides work, the cycle is reverted back to stage 1. People in the dominated stage are being forced to do things that they would rather not do.

This cycle is characterized by past civilizations such as Ancient Egypt that made use of slavery.
